At the other end of the day to yesterday's image, is this more heavily cloud-laden sky. The promise of blue as always, above the cloud layer. The omnipresent blue, even...

cloud day #114 27th August 2014
A morning shot, similar to others but never the same. That would be impossible. Three distinct areas of cloud, all with their charms.

cloud day #111 24th August 2014
Another glorious day, almost worthy of sunscreen, just a cute little line-up of clouds plopping down on the hills, as if suspended by a bungee cord.

could day #109 22nd August 2014
Almost the same as yesterday, save for a cotton ball in the lower centre and some wisp down the bottom. Glorious days, may they last at least the weekend for us working folk!

cloud day #108 21st August 2014
It feels as though I have been waiting a long time for some sunny blue and warmth and no grey! Well, here it is, not so useful from a clouds perspective, but what the hey! we can't have everything….

cloud day #107 20th August 2014
There was a teeny tiny glimmer of sun? this morning before the clouds rolled in and swept any remnant firmly away. Rain has been the order of the evening; this shot taken just before the first drops fell :(

cloud day #106 19th August 2014
Judging by how the day deteriorated, this early-ish morning shot says it all really. Heavy clouds like folds of whipped cream dominate. Also reminiscent of gooey marshmallow - but not as benign, or tempting!

cloud day #105 18th August 2014
Today's image holds promise for spring, at last, after a drab, grey-upon-grey weekend. Why does the sky do this every Monday as we head off to work?!

cloud day #104 17th August 2014
A stark contrast to yesterday's pastel! Stark is ably assisted by the tree, which has a red tinge courtesy of the evening sun. The sky is glowering, grey and drab - the cloud cover too thick to allow any sun to penetrate.
cloud day #103 16th August 2014
Today's image is characterised by muted tones with grey, pink, blue, white - makes me think 'Marie Antoinette pastels'.

cloud day #102 15th August 2014
Today's clouds, a more benign sky today with a drop in the harsh wind we've experienced of late. A bank of clouds over the hills offer a profile face bottom left!

cloud day #101 14th August 2014
Blue, vivid neon blue, and cloud…again off to the left. Stormy today (again), with squally rain and cold winds.
cloud day #100 13th August 2014
Woo hoo, I've made it to one hundred posts, even if there is no one out there watching/following, I'm happy! What's more, I find I am looking at the sky a lot more, not just to take that day's shot, but really noticing the often amazing cloud formations. Having a blog is quite a commitment, I find, and I thought I would forget sometimes, to take the photo of the day, but so far I haven't - another woo hoo!
Here is today's:

cloud day #96 9th August 2014
I'm loving the way the cloud at the bottom of the shot sort of resembles snow on the hills (ok, ok, I did say at first glance and I add, with imagination!). The pale peachy pink with grey is lovely. IN fact, I like this photo a lot :)
cloud day #95 8th August 2014
There's some blurry cloud off to the left, the only cloud in a cloudless day today…the 'eye' above the sun is a weird camera manifestation...

cloud day #94 7th August 2014
There has been some amazingly softly hued clouds of late - tonight is no exception. Lightly lightly pink, or even mushroom...

cloud day #91 4th August 2014
Wow, this is dramatic! the blue, cornflower, with the white white cloud below and the shadow underneath that. Nature at its finest.

cloud day #90 3rd August 2014
Another lovely cloudy vision, with the variety of clouds and the colours. I can't decide if I like the wispier versions or the fluffy ones at the back. I don't need to decide anyway, I love them both!
cloud day #89 2nd August 2014
Today's cloud picture is wonderful for its dramatis and scallop-like bands to the lower right. The sun reflected behind shows the upper layers like cotton.

cloud day #88 1st August 2014
A new month, new clouds?
Today's image is taken from a lower perspective so as to include the fog lying in the valley. Strictly clouds not, but ethereal just the same.
